A book about the speculation and hard facts of climate change. The feel had to be just right and bravely combines modern and traditional elements. The title has impact and looks like it could have been chiselled from an icy tablet in an old biblical tale!
A brave hot scale texture to complement the strong typography printed on rice paper for an authentic feel and clean, crafted aesthetic.
The aim here was to demonstrate hesitation and misdirection, I took abstract elements from everyday roadsigns and restricted the pallet to something more industrial. The considered typeface is also used for public signage in the UK.
